The Horizon Day Dress is a casual, easy-fitting dress. It features a relaxed style dropped shoulder with 3/4 length sleeves, which can be worn down or cuffed. The curved bodice sits above the natural waistline, adding interest and shape to the oversized silhouette for a flattering drape. The pattern features two views, both with inseam pockets and adjustable skirt lengths marked directly on the pattern — from above the knee to mid-shin.
View A has a full skirt.
View B includes a fun patchwork-style skirt. This pattern is intentionally designed with simple shapes, making it a fast and fun project to sew.
Difficulty: Beginner: techniques include neck bias binding and gathering.
Sizing: XXS – 6XL (see sizing chart with the pictures above).
Fabric requirements: see photo
* Not cutting on the fold and piecing bias will reduce yardage.
Extra fabric may be needed to match stripes, plaids, or directional prints.
